c. 1920s; Handel Lamp Co. - Meriden, CT
Floral-inspired cast bronze lamp with a pink and ecru stained glass lamp.
This piece, designed and manufactured by Handel Lamp, is a striking accent item. The patinated bronze stem creates a floral or botanical feel further complemented by the splayed petal/leaf base. Beneath the shade is a trio of downward-sloping sockets connected to single bulb that add to the overall natural look of the lamp, evoking a sort of perennial flower feel.
The stained glass shade features a number of rose-toned glass panels that form large bunches of flower that wrap around the shade; the pink colors further "pop" when illuminated, especially paired with the beige panels that make up the rest of the shade.
Exhibits minor signs of wear including aforementioned patina and one socket that doesn't work.
